Occupational First Aid Level 1 (Courtenay)
The WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1 course is a 7 hour program, excluding lunch and coffee breaks, designed to provide lifesaving first aid skills to workers in the workplace. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency and achieve 70% on a multiple choice exam. On successful completion of the course, participants receive a 3-year certification.
There are no requirements to participate in the OFA Course, and no age restriction. Candidates must be able to comprehend the information presented and be physically capable of performing the required skills to be issued an OFA Certification. Course Content: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR-A) with AED Minor Wound Management Critical Airway, Breathing and Circulatory Interventions with C-Spine control
Cost is $95 plus GST. Please bring along government issued ID. Class will be held at our classroom at 1255-D Cliffe Ave in Courtenay
