Transportation Endorsement

The WorkSafeBC Transportation Endorsement course is an 8 hour program focusing
specifically on the transport of injured workers to medical aid. In order to participate in this
training a candidate must hold a current OFA Level 1 or Level 2 certificate. This certification is
valid for three years upon successful completion of course. In order to be successful,
candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency.
Prerequisite: Occupational First Aid Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate
The course curriculum includes:
 Review of patient assessment to an OFA Level 1 standard
 Patient packaging for transport including supine and ¾ prone, drainage and position of
comfort
 Review of critical airway, breathing and circulatory intervention with C-
Spine management
